Recruitment (Overseas Employment)¶
The Recruitment module runs the full foreign-employment demand cycle — from registering the foreign employer, through raising a Job Order (demand letter), the Nepal DoFE workflow (embassy attestation → purba syukriti / pre-approval), a higher-authority approval gate, to the order being placed and locked.
If you have never used the platform before, read this page first, then follow the four numbered pages in order. There is also a single end-to-end walkthrough with sample data: Place a Job Order, start to finish.

Who does what (roles)¶
- Recruitment officer — registers employers, creates job orders, fills the workflow steps.
- Higher authority / admin — approves employers and places (approves) job orders.
Two independent approvals
There are two separate approval gates. An employer is approved once (so it can ever receive demands). Each job order is approved separately at the end of its workflow. They do not affect each other.
Two golden rules¶
1 — Only APPROVED employers can receive job orders
When you create a Job Order, the Employer dropdown lists only employers that are both Approved and Active. If your employer isn't in the list, it hasn't been approved yet — see Employer Registry.
2 — A PLACED order is locked forever
Once a higher authority approves a job order it becomes Job Order Placed and every field, edit button and delete action is disabled, everywhere. There is no “unlock”. Make sure the details are right before it is placed.
