Approvals Dashboard¶
A single inbox for the requests that need HR's decision — so you don't have to visit each module separately. Most requests follow a two-level path: a manager approves first, then HR gives the final sign-off here.

What lands here¶
The dashboard groups pending items by type, for example:
- Leave requests — after the manager has approved (see Leave).
- Salary advances — see Salary Advances & Loans.
- Overtime — see Overtime.
- Attendance exceptions — regularizations and out-of-pattern punches.
- Other claims — e.g. reimbursement/insurance items routed for approval.
Each row shows the Employee, the relevant Date / Date Range, the request Type, the Requested Times or Destination / Purpose / Advance Req. details, the Reason, and an Action control.
Decide a request¶
- Open the item and review the details.
- Add Manager Remarks — these are required so there's an audit trail for every decision.
- Confirm to approve, or reject with the remark explaining why.
Decisions apply in place — no page reload
On the Approval Inbox (/hr/approval-inbox), approving or rejecting updates both queues
right where you are: the decided row disappears (or moves from the manager queue to the HR
queue), a confirmation appears above the queues, and your current page in each queue is kept.
Queue pagination also flips pages in place. If anything fails, the error is shown inline or as
a toast — a decision is never lost silently.
Two-level approval engine
HR approvals run on the shared approval engine: a request is raised, a manager approves, then it materializes here for HR's final decision. Approving (or rejecting) records who decided, when, and why.
Decisions flow downstream automatically
Approving a leave request books the leave; approving an advance sets up its EMI; approving cash overtime queues it for the next payroll run. You don't need to re-enter anything in the source module.
