Onboard an Employee¶
Steps¶
- Open HR Management → Employees, then click Onboard Employee (
/hr/employees/create). - Enter the employee's details — name, email, phone, gender, date of birth — and their employment details: department, designation, employment type, and salary.
- Click Save.
No password to set — they get an email
You never type a password for the employee. On save the platform creates their account and emails a “set your password” link. They click it, choose a password, and can sign in to the employee portal.
Managing employees¶
From Employees, each row's ⋯ menu offers:
- Employee File — the full profile.
- Edit Details — update their record.
- Send Password Reset — emails a fresh reset link if they're locked out or never set one.
- Attendance Log, Leave History, Payslips.
- Offboard Employee.
Converting an existing user¶
If the person already has a platform account (e.g. they were a candidate or agent), open Onboard Employee with their user pre-selected — the form links the new employee record to the existing account instead of creating a duplicate.
Org structure
Employees sit on four independent axes: branch (tree), department (flat), designation (global, with a level number), and a reporting line (org chart). Set these up first under HR Management if your workspace is new.
