Items & Masters¶
Set up the reference data the rest of inventory depends on: items, categories, warehouses, and suppliers.
Item Categories¶
Materials → Item Categories (/materials/categories) — group items (Raw Materials, Finished
Goods, Consumables, Spare Parts, Packaging) for classification and reporting.
Items¶
Materials → Items (/materials/items) — create item master records with SKU, category,
unit of measure, valuation method, and reorder level.

Warehouses¶
Materials → Warehouses (/materials/warehouses) — define storage locations and set a default
warehouse for stock tracking.
Suppliers¶
Materials → Suppliers (/materials/suppliers) — register suppliers with contact and address
details, ready to link on purchase orders.
Set masters up first
Create categories → items → warehouses → suppliers before recording any stock movement; documents reference these records.
