Deploy a Candidate Abroad (end-to-end)¶
This walkthrough follows one candidate from application all the way to Deployed, touching recruitment, the deployment process, payments, and document sharing. It assumes a job order already exists.

1. Get the candidate into the system¶
- New applicant from your public careers site? Their application is already in the pipeline.
- Walk-in / agent-sourced? Create the candidate (scan passport, send invite).
2. Place them against a job order¶
Open the job order, select the candidate for an approved position, and move them through the workflow & approval gate so they're cleared to proceed.
3. Run the deployment process¶
Open the candidate's deployment process and advance it stage by stage — the system blocks out-of-order jumps:
- Document Collection — passport, citizenship, licences.
- Internal Interview — pass/fail.
- Pre-Medical — fit/unfit.
- Work Permit — applied → received.
- Visa — applied → approved (requires work permit received).
- Compliance — DoFE / government clearances (requires visa approved).
- Ticketing → Ready to Fly → Deployed.
Payment gates Ready-to-Fly
The process won't reach Ready to Fly until the candidate's account is settled — check the candidate ledger and clear any balance first.
4. Collect fees & settle the ledger¶
Record payments against the candidate in Payments; the running balance must clear before final stages. Issues or overpayments are handled via Refunds.
5. Share documents with the employer / agent¶
Bundle the candidate's papers and send a secure link via Media & Secure Sharing — auto-generate the candidate's folder, then Share Selected to the recipient's email.
6. Confirm deployment¶
When the candidate flies, set the process to Deployed. The full audit trail (stages, dates, documents, payments) stays on the record.
Done
The candidate is deployed, fully documented, and financially settled — ready for any post-deployment follow-up or grievance handling.
