Hub & Holder¶
Two role-based work views drive day-to-day custody movement.
Hub Operator¶
Open Custody → Hub (/app/custody/hub). The hub operator works a queue organised by stage:
- Inbound — items in transit to the hub.
- Storage — items currently at the hub.
- Outbound — items issued to a holder or released to the owner.
- Returning — items in transit back to the hub.
Accept inbound items into storage and dispatch outbound ones; each action is recorded on the chain.

Holder ("My Custody")¶
Open Custody → My Custody (/app/custody/holder) to see the chains currently assigned to you.
When you're done with an item, use Return to Owner (or hand it back to the hub) — the chain moves
to the return stage for the hub to accept.
Always hand off in the system
Physically passing an item without recording the hand-off breaks the trail. Record every transfer so the chain stays accurate and SLAs track correctly.
