Group Console — manage your member tenants

For organisations that oversee several workspaces — a municipality with its hospitals, a ministry with facilities, or a company group with branch companies. One "parent" workspace (the group) lists its member workspaces, and its group administrators can enter any member to operate as that member's administrator.

Who gets it

  • The platform team links a workspace to its parent (workspace edit → Parent tenant (group)). Linking a member automatically enables the Group Console on the parent and creates the Group Administrator role there.
  • A group administrator is a normal user in the parent workspace who holds the ROLE_GROUP_ADMIN role (assign it under Administration → Roles).

Using the console

Open Administration → Group Console. It opens on the Dashboard; the Member hospitals tab is one click away (both views share the tab strip at the top).

Group Dashboard (/group/dashboard)

A cross-hospital overview of your whole group — each number is a group total with a per-member-hospital breakdown:

  • Member hospitals — how many workspaces are in your group.
  • Active patients, OPD encounters, Total staff — rolled up across every member, shown both as a group KPI and as a by-hospital bar chart.

It's the same arrange-your-own-cards board as every module home: Add / remove cards to choose what's shown, drag to reorder, Save layout, or Reset to default. The figures always stay fenced to your group — a hospital's data is only ever counted inside the group that owns it.

Member hospitals (/group/tenants)

  • Member list — every workspace linked to your group, with status and contact.
  • Enter — switch into a member and operate as its administrator. An orange IMPERSONATING strip stays at the top of every page while you're inside.
  • Exit Impersonation — the strip's button returns you to your own workspace. Sessions inside a member expire automatically after 30 minutes.

Boundaries (by design)

  • You can only ever see and enter your own group's members — never other groups or unrelated workspaces. Attempts are blocked and security-audited.
  • The hierarchy is one level: a group parent cannot itself join another group.
  • Every enter/exit is recorded (who, which workspace, when, from where) for compliance review.
