Tenants & Subdomains

Each customer organisation is a tenant (workspace) with its own subdomain, data, and users.

Create a tenant

1. As a platform admin, open Administration → Tenants and click New (/admin/tenants/create).
2. Enter the company name and the subdomain (e.g. acme → acme.iesmac.com).
3. Enter the Initial Administrator — their name and email.
4. Click Save.

The admin sets their own password

No password is entered here — an invitation email with a 7-day set-password link is sent to the admin automatically. They click it, choose a password, and own the workspace.

How subdomains work

• Every tenant gets {subdomain}.iesmac.com. A user signing in from the bare domain is auto-redirected to their workspace subdomain.
• Subdomains are wildcard DNS records (*.iesmac.com) in Route 53, so adding a tenant needs no DNS change — the workspace just becomes reachable at its subdomain.

Managing a tenant

From Tenants, each row's ⋯ menu offers Edit, Manage & Modules, Impersonate, Reset Admin Password, and Suspend / Reactivate the subscription.

Modules are sold per package

A tenant's subscription package decides which app-groups (Recruitment, HR, Front Office, …) appear in their launcher. Adjust under Manage & Modules.
